He knows what He's doing

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6

I am a human (I'm sure you're relieved that I'm human, and not actually an alien, that's been writting all this time!). A human is a finite being. Its body, its heart, and its mind dies. Only the soul lives for eternity. The thing with being a finite being is, my view is limited. It's limited to the teeny, tiny world that I can see. It's controlled by my fallible brain that will eventually die. I'm encased in a human body that is confined to time and space. My view is limited.

But then there's God! He's in heaven and on earth and everywhere in between. He sees all, knows all, and created all there is to see. His brain (if He techinacally has one) is perfect, infallible, and eternal. His being is not confined to anything. He is not bothered by time or space - they work for Him, not against Him, because He made them.

And the thing is, God made you. He has a great plan for you. It may not seem all that great from your limited point of view, but God knows what He is doing. No matter what you're going through, He has a purpose for your life. He loves you, and He knows what He's doing.



I love this song. It reminds me that God is not shaken. He loves me. He knows what He's doing.
