100 Questions

So Lizzie found a blog (tresadawn.wordpress.com) that was doing a series of 100 questions about themselves every week for a year (5,000 questions total). She thinks I should do it. I probably won't waste a post every week for a year on questions about myself, but I did do the first hundred. So... here goes...

1. Who are you?

- I'm Aylin. A Christian daughter, sister, and friend.

2. What are the 3 most important things everyone should know about you?

- I love God with everything I am, I do not understand people who don't like reading, and I sometimes get sudden urges to eat exotic fruit.

3. When you aren't filling out 5,000 question surveys like this one what are you doing?

- I'm listening to music, playing piano, reading, blogging, drawing, writing...

4. List your classes in school from the ones you like the most to the ones you like the least (or if you are out of school, think of the classes you did like and didn't like at the time).

- Social Studies, Lit., Geometry, Grammar, Chemistry

5. What is your biggest goal for this year?

- Not have such a short temper with my sisters

6. Where do you want to be in 5 years?

- Umm, in college, maybe have a boyfriend, and be involved with a church worship ministry

7. What stage of life are you in right now?

- I'm a teen, homeschooled...

8. Are you more child-like or childish?

- I probably act childish sometimes, but I am a technically a child, you know!

9. What is the last thing you said out loud?

- "Well, here's the thing..." (I didn't finish my sentence)

10. What song comes closest to how you feel about your life right now?

- Never Alone (Barlow Girls) ???

11. Have you ever taken martial arts classes?

- No :(

12. Does your life tend to get better or worse or does it just stay the same?

- Mostly the same

13. Does time really heal all wounds?

- No - time can help one forget, or one can hold on to a hurt and it can grow into black, ugly bitterness.

14. How do you handle a rainy day?

- My day's about the same, although I usually feel more tired when its rainy and gray out.

15. Which is worse...losing your luggage or having to sort out tangled holiday lights?

- losing luggage

16. How is your relationship with your parents? Will you miss them when they are gone?

- I love my parents and can't imagine not being able to talk to them or see them anymore. What a sad question :(

17. Do you tend to be aware of what is going on around you?

- HAH! Sometimes I'm in my own time and space demension, and I am oblivious to the rest of the world.

18. What is the truest thing that you know?

- God's patience and forgiveness.

19. What did you want to be when you grew up?

- Well, I'm not all "grown up" yet, so I still want to be a graphic designer.

20. Have you ever been given a second chance?

- Everyday.

21. Are you more of a giver or a taker?

- I'd like to think I'm a giver mostly.

22. Do you make your decisions with an open heart/mind?

- I always try to see all the angles of a situation and listen to other's opinions before I decide something

23. What is the most physically painful thing that has ever happened to you?

- Hmmm...

24. What is the most emotionally painful thing that has ever happened to you?

- When a group I was a part of split over rumors and my whole world wasn't the same again

25. Who have you hugged today?

- Oops - I'm going now to hug my mom :)

26. Who has done something today to show they care about you?

- I went shopping with my mom and we laughed and had a good time. She bought us raspberry thin mints (Mmmmmmmmm)

- Oh my goodness! So much to learn, not enough time to do it in.

A. I wish I could speak german

- What people make me feel. I can live a whole month on a complement or a nice word!

- I don't watch tv at night. I sleep.

- Fly. I do not think me, a boat, and a wavy ocean would like each other that much!

42. Why is the sky blue during the day and black at night?

- the sunlight hitting gases in the air makes it appear blue, and it's black at night because there in no light to make color (black is the absence of color)...

- Moon.

- Neither.

- God is holy, just, love, omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient. He loved me so much that He died so to pay for my sin and make a way that I can live with Him forever.

- Absolutely

- Hmmm, I don't know...

- I guess I have a couple deep dark secrets, but mostly I am pretty open with people.

- Too much stuff that it would be difficult to name it all!

- Go Home!

- I don't drive.

- Not really

- Ummm, probably play music, or write, or something... I really like a lot of things!

- The right to... let me think about it...

- Equator (I am already too cold as it is!)

- Watching television. Music is SO MUCH BETTER.

- Love

- Tarantulas - well, really any spider, but it sounds better to only say the really big ones!

- An ebook

- Nope. I don't really shop all that much.

- No :(

90. Which would you rather take as a gym class...dancing, sailing, karate, or bowling?

- Karate

91. In Star Trek people 'beam' back and forth between different places. What this means is they stand in a little tube and their molecules are deconstructed and sent to another tube somewhere else where they are reassembled. Only problem is when the molecules are deconstructed the person is dead. When they are put back together it is only a clone that has all the dead person's memories. So...

Is the person who gets beamed the same person on both ends?

- What kind of question is that, anyway?

- Mostly just spiders.

- Hmmm. I don't know.

- :)

- cinnamon rolls

- Hunting, fishing, hiking, camping...

97. Have you ever caught an insect and kept it as a pet?

- No, but I did catch some insects, gas them with nail polish remover, and pin them to a board in a jar once >:D

98. What is more helpful to you, wishes or plans?

- Well, you start with wishes, but if they don't develop into plans, than the wishes were worthless.

99. When do you feel your life energy the strongest?

- Umm "life energy?" When I'm singing in church, I guess.

100. You are spending the night alone in the woods and may bring only 3 items with you. What do you bring?

- a rifle, a lighter, and a sleeping bag!
